Drone cargo transport to hard-to-reach sites

Need materials delivered to a construction site, telecom mast or difficult terrain? AeroSurvey plans and carries out drone cargo flights, from route assessment to controlled placement. Enquire about a project in Poland, Austria or Germany.

DRONE CARGO TRANSPORT
Drone cargo transport

Deliver materials even without road access

FOR CONSTRUCTION, ENERGY AND TELECOMS

We deliver tools, materials and components where they are needed. At difficult sites, drone transport may offer an alternative to cranes, helicopters or labour-intensive manual handling. We first assess whether it suits your load and project.

Typical applications for drone cargo transport

AeroSurvey transports loads to difficult sites where vehicles, cranes or manual handling require substantial effort.

  • Construction sites and elevated work areas
  • Power lines and utility corridors
  • Telecom masts and installations
  • Forestry and difficult terrain
  • Alpine and remote sites
  • Energy and infrastructure projects

Each project is assessed individually for load weight, route, elevation, terrain and applicable requirements.

Example loads and tasks

  • Construction: tools and materials for elevated or difficult work areas.
  • Telecom masts: technical components and equipment.
  • Line construction: positioning pilot and auxiliary ropes between agreed points.

Feasibility depends on load, route and local conditions.

Less ground transport effort

  • Direct delivery: transport between agreed points.
  • Reduced handling: potential to reduce carrying routes and vehicle movements.
  • Difficult terrain: access without a continuous road.
  • Flexible scope: individual deliveries or recurring supply flights.

Is your load suitable for drone transport?

Weight, dimensions and secure lifting points are decisive. We match attachment and placement methods to the load.

Payload and route feasibility are assessed against elevation, terrain, weather and safety margins.

Your cargo flight in four steps

  1. Enquire: provide load, route and dates.
  2. Assessment and quote: we review conditions and price the project.
  3. Preparation: agree flight planning, permissions and ground controls.
  4. Transport: pick up, fly and place the load under control.

Information needed for your quote

  • Load: weight, dimensions and ideally a photo.
  • Route: address, coordinates or site plan.
  • Scope: number of deliveries and preferred dates.
  • Conditions: elevation change, obstacles and available areas.

We clarify the remaining details during project assessment.

Preparing for your operation

We review airspace, weather, obstacles and required permissions, then agree pickup and delivery areas and ground controls.

Suitable conditions and safe load attachment are essential. Passenger and dangerous-goods transport are outside our standard service.

For businesses and project teams

We support construction and installation companies, energy providers, network operators and telecom businesses.

We also assess transport projects for forestry, alpine infrastructure, industrial facilities and public-sector clients.

One contact for your drone transport

AeroSurvey plans and carries out the cargo flight. Pickup, route and placement are coordinated with your site management or project team.

Installation, electrical and rope-pulling work require separate arrangements with appropriately qualified contractors.

Enquire about your cargo flight

Send a load photo, weight and dimensions, pickup and delivery locations and preferred dates. We will assess feasibility and clarify the next steps towards a quote.

Cargo flight questions

Key information before you enquire.

PAYLOAD, COST AND PLANNING

  • What can you transport by drone?

Tools, building materials, spare parts and technical equipment, as well as pilot and auxiliary ropes. Suitability depends on weight, dimensions, lifting points and site conditions.

  • How heavy can my load be?

Available payload depends on distance, elevation change, weather and safety margins. Send weight and dimensions so we can assess a suitable transport concept.

  • How are permissions and safety addressed?

Planning includes reviewing required permissions and safety measures. We agree the flight area, ground controls and pickup and delivery zones. A date can be confirmed once these conditions are resolved.

  • How is the load placed at its destination?

We agree a suitable delivery point. Depending on the task, the load is set down or lowered using a winch. Required space and ground safety measures are established beforehand.

  • How much does a cargo flight cost?

Pricing depends on the load, route, number of flights and site preparation. Send weight, dimensions, pickup and delivery locations and preferred dates. We prepare a project-specific quote after assessment.
